HARD WATER PROBLEMS - BUILD UP OF LIMESCALE |

Hard water can be treated in different ways. If you want this problem totally removed and require soft water then the only solution that we believe really works is to install a water softener. Appliances can be protected from scale build up using scale inhibitors. These work by preventing scale building up on heat exchange surfaces and in our opinion are effective for this application, they do not however soften the water. Scale inhibitors are ideal for combi boilers, immersion heaters and electric showers, for example. There are also water filters and calcium treatment units that can be used. These are suitable for single under sink applications for treating your kitchen tap or large commercial kitchens and whole premises where water softeners are not suitable. |
